ABOUT OUR AREA
The northern Colorado Rockies have long been recognized for their scenic beauty and majestic mountain peaks as well as the recreational and economic opportunities.
Used historically as hunting grounds by plains Indian tribes such as the Sioux and Arapahoe, the area has also figured prominently in the lives of innumerable trappers, miners, ranchers, loggers and other rugged pioneers.

Today, recreation is king, enjoyed all-seasons by thousands of outdoor enthusiasts, with fishing, hiking and horse back riding toping the list of most pursued activities. People from all over the world have found the Livermore & Red Feather Lakes area to be the perfect place for a summer home, vacation cabin or camping spot.

The area also serves as the permanent home for many families whose livelihoods are tied closely to the thriving and growing community of Fort Collins. The distinctiveness of the area attracts a diversity of people that call this area home.
